I agree with another review, it's sad that they didn't take the time to acquire the rights to the songs and keep the sets consistent with the original shows.

It seems to me that it lead the way into a whole new kind of TV show. More impressive is that it's fun to watch over and over. And the fact that it lasted 5 seasons makes it impressive. In my mind it's the first of its kind to take time travel and make it believable. It's funny and serious, cap tivating and clean. Quantum Leap is a daring sci-fi series that depicts the idea of time travel and was successful. Others say that region 2 has the original music, so if you have a player that plays region 2, you are set. Do some research to make sure I am correct about the music. I don't regret buying them and didn't miss the omitted or replaced music. This made me hesitate to buy, but in the end I chose to buy the series sets anyway. I had heard that some of the original music was replaced on some of the seasons because of some copyright thing. For that reason, I would not hesitate to recommend season 4. I can't imagine having one season and not having all of them. Quantum Leap is one of my favorite TV shows.
